The company called "Sphere - space information technologies" (LLC "Sphere") is created on the basis of JSC "Satellite system "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos"). A remarkable and pleasant surprise was the date of the state registration of the new company - Space Day Holiday.
The main tasks of the created operator will include the creation, operation and provision of services based on the systems included in the Federal project "Sphere". The experience and infrastructure of JSC Satellite System Gonets, which for many years has been acting as a single industry operator of the State Corporation Roscosmos for communication and relaying systems, will help the company to successfully cope with them.
In addition to the competencies of the Gonets company, the work of the new operator is planned in cooperation with domestic satellite communication operators – "Russian Satellite Communication Company" (RSCC) and JSC "Gazprom Space Systems".
The joint use of the competencies of all operators will help to implement the most effective and time-tested solutions in the operation of the Sphere system.
It will also allow covering all segments of the satellite communications market at the same time, providing services "within one window". Such a collaboration has already been testing by JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" with RSCC and brings the first results.
