System "Gonets" can be used offshore, especially in areas far from the coastline. In such areas, satellite communications is an important alternative to other forms of communication.
In the period from July 1 to 5, JSC "Satellite system "Gonets" took part in the annual "Maritime defence show" (IMDS-2015). This year the exposition was located on the stand JSC Concern "okeanpribor". Despite the fact that some visitors might seem a strange presence in the mobile-satellite communication systems for the marine compartment, it was not accidental. System "Gonets" has proved its efficiency for the transfer of coordinate data in the trials on the Northern sea route (ice-breaker "50 years of Victory") at the end of last year. In addition, the record system have a positive experience in many years of service on ships of various purposes, including running and currently.
