7-9 December in Saint-Petersburg hosts the V international forum "Arctic: present and future". The forum is aimed at development of multifaceted cooperation for socio-economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
JSC "Satellite system "Gonets" took part in the exhibition jointly with JSC "ISS" in the joint exhibition of the Krasnoyarsk territory. In the first day of work the exhibition was visited by Deputy Chairman of RF Government D. O. Rogozin and the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Viktor Tolokonsky and the President of MOO "Association of polar explorers" A. N. Chilingarov. President of JSC "SC "Gonets" Dmitry Bakanov V. reported to them about the state of the system "the Messenger" and its capabilities in solving problems of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
The Arctic region is characterized by remoteness and severe climatic conditions, because the presence of communication is an important component in the development of the Arctic.
