Scientific & practical conference "Digital platform of the future: drone technology and integrated service solutions"
05.03.2020

On March 4, the Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov hosted an intersectoral scientific and practical conference "Digital Platforms of the Future: Unmanned technologies and integrated service solutions".

The event was organized by JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos"), the Faculty of Space Research of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Faculty of Global Processes of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the National Center for Digital Economy (Scientific and Educational Center of Competence in the field of Digital Economy of the Lomonosov Moscow State University).

Pavel Cherenkov, General Director of the JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" , Sergey Prokhorov, Director of the Advanced Programs and the Sphere Project Department of the Roscosmos State Corporation, and Andrey Anikin, Technical Director of the GLONASS Aerospace Systems Division, made presentations at the conference. The speakers from Lomonosov Moscow State University were Ivan Samylovsky, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Space Research, Vasily Sazonov, Dean of the Faculty of Space Research, Sergey Malkov, Professor of the Faculty of Global Processes, and Ilya Ilyin, Dean of the Faculty of Global Processes.

The conference presented domestic developments in the field of integrated satellite geoinformation, navigation and telecommunications services for spatial and logistics corridors, unmanned and robotic systems; modern technologies in the field of the latest methods of collecting and processing information, as well as intelligent technical solutions for equipping unmanned vehicles and control systems.

Pavel Cherenkov, General Director of JSC "Satellite System "Gonets": Unmanned technologies are among the most promising today. They significantly change the traditional paradigms of many industries, in particular, transport. But for their full implementation, a seamless information-connected environment is required, to which unmanned objects require constant connection. In this sense, the satellite connected segment is indispensable, since allows automatic devices to remain in the information availability zone even when they are at the maximum distance from the monitoring and control centers.

In accordance with the instructions of Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin, as a result of the conference, a joint resolution was developed on the formation of a Consortium of organizations providing satellite services for unmanned vehicles and robotic systems.
