JSC "Satellite system "Gonets" took part in the 2nd International forum of technological development "TECHNOPROM-2014", held on 5-6 June in Novosibirsk. The company exhibited at the joint stand with JSC "Information satellite systems" named after academician M. F. Reshetnev".
This year one of the sections of the forum was specifically dedicated to the system GLONASS and its applications. The report on it was done by the Deputy Chairman of RF Government D. O. Rogozin, who at the end of the session visited the exhibition, including the stand of the JSC "ISS" and JSC "SS "Gonets", where he examined the models of spacecraft "Gonets-M" and "GLONASS-K". Also the stand was visited by Alexander O. Gurko, President of NP "GLONASS". Novosibirsk oblast is a promising region for the exploitation of satellite system "Gonets", because it has vast areas not covered by terrestrial communication networks. Some companies-participants of the forum were interested in the capabilities of satellite system "Gonets".
