Multifunctional space relay system (MSRS) "Loutch" (operator - JSC "Satellite system "Gonets") performed under normal conditions the task of transferring telemetry data from the manned transport spacecraft "Soyuz MS-04" with the international crew of two astronauts on board.
In particular, until the successful docking 16:19 GMT to the International space station (ISS), made according to the short scheme, there were successfully held 7 sessions relaying. The sessions were held at all four circles of rendezvous, up to
the Soyz docking to the ISS. In performing the related tasks, werу involved all the 3 spacecrafts in the orbital group MSRS "Loutch": "Loutch-5A", "Loutch-5B and Loutch-5V". The relay channel was used for the transmission of telemetry data and commands to the space craft.
In today's mission MSRS "Loutch" once again worked on its main purpose - relaying telemetry from space crafrs when outside the service zones of ground-based assets.
