JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") took part in a conference on the introduction of innovative and high-tech products in PJSC "Gazprom", which was held from 5 to 8 September 2023 in St. Petersburg.
The conference was attended by representatives of the administration, subsidiaries and organizations of PJSC Gazprom, engineering and research centers, as well as developers and manufacturers of innovative and high-tech products. Within the framework of thematic round tables, experts discussed topical issues of the organization of the introduction of new equipment and technologies at the facilities of production and economic activities of subsidiaries and organizations of PJSC Gazprom.
Alexander Grisenko, Head of the digital transformation direction of SS Gonets JSC, spoke at a round table dedicated to the automation of the gas industry, where he presented the capabilities of the Gonets satellite system for monitoring stationary and mobile objects of the gas industry. In particular, he spoke about the unique digital services using the Gonets system, which can be used in the production, transportation and storage of gas. Software and hardware complexes (SHC) based on the Gonets system allow for continuous monitoring of any stationary or mobile energy storage facilities, allowing them to monitor their current state, as well as promptly respond to the occurrence of emergency situations. Via satellite channels of the Gonets system, data is transmitted to monitoring centers for subsequent processing. The Gonets low-orbit satellite system is a completely domestic system that works in all weather and geographical conditions, throughout the territory of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the conference, experts also discussed topical issues of the introduction of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, which are currently becoming increasingly popular.
