JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") took part in the Council of Chief Designers, which was held at JSC "Information Satellite Systems" named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev" on October 25, 2022. The event summed up the results of the planned work of organizations belonging to the State Corporation "Roscosmos" on the operation and creation of spacecraft and systems.
The management of JSC "Satellite System "Gonets", consisting of General Director P.G. Cherenkov, First Deputy O.L. Himochko, Deputy for Operation A.V. Manoilo, took part in a plenary meeting with representatives of the organizations of the State Corporation "Roscosmos" and its thematic departments. The Council participants were provided with information on the current status of the Gonets low-orbit satellite system and the Luch space relay system. The reports included materials on the state of orbital groupings and the ground infrastructure of satellite systems, the work carried out this year on their operation and development, problematic issues requiring prompt solutions. Separate sections were devoted to the targeted application of the Luch system in various sectors of the national economic complex of Russia, including the current status of ongoing work with key consumers of satellite services. Within the framework of the Council, a number of working meetings were also held under the chairmanship of the General Director of JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" Pavel Cherenkov, where private issues of interaction of the satellite operator with cooperation organizations on current projects and works were touched upon.
