JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") took part in the Chief Designers Council, which was held at JSC "Information Satellite Systems" named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev". At the event, the results of the current work of Roscosmos enterprises on the operation and creation of spacecraft and systems were summed up.

At the meetings of the Council, reports on the status and development of the GLONASS navigation satellite system were also presented. Also plans for creation of spacecraft for new satellite systems of the state program "Sphere" were considered.

In total, representatives of more than 40 enterprises and organizations-customers of spacecraft and satellite systems took part in the work of the Council of Chief Designers of the ISS company. They discussed the implementation of state programs in the field of space activities, as well as joint work plans for 2022.

Nikolay Testoyedov, General Director of ISS JSC, noted that the main emphasis during the discussions was placed on the work of cooperation in the sanctions conditions imposed on Russia. ISS, as the head organization for a number of current and prospective projects, analyzes the impact of restrictive measures on their implementation and works out measures to counter them. This makes it possible to make prompt decisions to fulfill existing contracts.
