"Gonets" presented promising solutions at the Sphere Congress
28.04.2022

JSC "Satellite system "Gonets" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") told at the Sphere Congress about ongoing projects on satellite monitoring of mobile and stationary objects. Maxim Diordiev, Director of the Directorate of Satellite Systems Application, presented in his report the first results of work on a relatively new direction of development of the Gonets company - the creation of satellite box solutions. He also moderated one of the sessions of the Congress.

A product line developed over the past year by Gonets for remote monitoring was presented to the congress participants. The most important components are subscriber terminals of the Gonets low-orbit satellite system. Satellite solutions allow to accumulate and transmit important information from the most remote areas, which is in demand in many industries and activities. For example, the "Gonets-Impulse" solution allows remote monitoring of power lines, and the "Gonets-Ecologist" will help to prevent leakage of liquids from storage facilities or a dam break. The Congress Sphere was held on April 26 as part of the XV Navigation Forum. It was opened by Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of the Roscosmos State Corporation. He mentioned in his welcoming speech: "Sphere is an application for the full independence of our country in providing business and government authorities with all space services — communications, surveillance services, infrastructure management. Of course, this creates a huge commercial result."
