Representatives of the management of JSC "Satellite System "Gonets" held a meeting with representatives of the company "Space Communications" LLC ("KosCom"), where they discussed the possibilities of working together in various projects.
The company "KosCom", 100% of which is owned by JSC "Russian Space Systems", has been operating on the market since 2016 and was formed with the aim of developing the market of complex products and services based on the results of space activities.
Mr. Maxim Diordiev - the Representative of the "Gonets" Satellite System told the partners about unique "boxed" solutions that allow transmitting remote monitoring data via a secure network channel using a group of low-orbit "Gonets-M" spacecrafts. The developed monitoring complexes are flexibly configured to the customer's requirements and provide information exchange regardless of the availability of GSM network. Taking into account the land extent and vast hard-to-reach territories in our country, the use of Gonet's solutions is especially important for many industries.
In particular, the "Gonets" system can provide stable digital network in online purchase of goods and services, as well as working of vending machines on long-distance Russian Railways trains, in which there is often no ground network connection.
The subscriber terminals and accessories of the "Gonets" satellite system were demonstrated to colleagues from KosCom.
The latest company's developed case - "Gonets-Impulse" software and hardware complex, which allows remote digital monitoring of electric grid facilities - was also shown to the partners.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue further joint work and establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the application of solutions of the "Gonets" system in various fields.
