Representative of JSC "Satellite system "Messenger" (part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") He spoke about the use of the Gonets low-orbit satellite communication system as part of the events of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence exhibition, which was held on June 29-30, 2023 at VDNH in Moscow.
Maxim Diordiev, Director of the Satellite Systems Application Directorate of SS Gonets JSC, spoke at the round table "Artificial Intelligence without Borders: Needs, Technologies, implementation" and presented the possibilities of using the equipment and communication channel of the Gonets satellite system in various intelligent digital solutions.
Currently, the domestic Cedar hardware and software complex is actively used in production, which, through the Gonets system, continuously monitors transport and infrastructure facilities in the logging industry. The Gonets satellite system is also used in programs for digital monitoring of sea and river transport, for transmitting data from meteorological centers and other infrastructure facilities. The possibility of using the Gonets satellite system for monitoring oil and gas production, power grids, digital monitoring of liquid media, etc. has been worked out. Intelligent solutions based on the Gonets satellite system provide 100% stable coverage throughout the Russian Federation, including in remote northern and polar regions where there is no ground connection. Compact equipment and easy integration into the customer's systems make it possible to use the Russian Gonets satellite communication system in almost any sectors of the economy and everyday life.
The specialized exhibition "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence" was held this year under the slogan "Enterprises of Russia – defenders of the Fatherland" and presented an opportunity to expand business partnership among representatives of executive authorities, special services, large manufacturing enterprises and industry experts.
