ESCS-L MSRS «Loutch» operate in the offset Ku band, have the functions of automatic guidance on the spacecraft and auto tracking during the communication session. During transportation, the stations are housed in special cases, convenient for transportation by various modes of transport.

The station is quickly mounted, during transportation it is packed in 6 compact containers, suitable for transportation by various modes of transport.
Earth satellite communication stations (ESCS-L) MSRS «Loutch» of «02» modification is designed to provide a duplex satellite communication channel for data transmission of various types in stationary conditions. Radio frequency equipment of the station is located in a server rack.
