A representative of JSC Gonets Satellite System (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) took part in the main business meeting of the year dedicated to professional networks and communication systems – the ProfComm 2023 forum, which took place on November 15, 2023 in Moscow.
The X International Forum on Professional Networks and Communication Systems ProfComm 2023, organized by the ComNews Information Group, was held this year in a face-to-face format and gathered more than 350 specialists.
Andrey Manoilo, Deputy General Director of SS Gonets JSC for Operations, presented the Gonets satellite communication system of a new generation at the forum: he spoke about the deployment and launch into commercial operation of the Gonets-M1 spacecraft grouping, presented promising subscriber equipment for working with them. In his report, A. Manoilo emphasized the importance of using and developing Russian communication systems and technologies, which is particularly relevant in the current political environment.
Within the framework of the forum, separate discussions were also held, where representatives of leading communication companies discussed topical issues of import substitution and best practices for the implementation of domestic developments in industry interests, as well as summed up the results of the outgoing year. Innovative developments and equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers were presented at the exhibition organized within the framework of the Forum.
ProfComm 2023 is an independent platform for open dialogue and discussion of industry issues, key trends and future prospects for the development of professional networks and communication systems. The forum was attended by representatives of federal executive authorities, design research institutes, telecom operators, manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, IT companies, suppliers of domestic software and specialized solutions, specialized representatives of consumers of communication services, journalists of business and industry media.
