JSC "Satellite system" Gonets "and JSC" Glavkosmos "(part of the State Corporation" Roscosmos ") signed a memorandum of cooperation with JSC" National Company "Kazakhstan Qarysh Sapary" (successor from August 2007 to the National Company "Kazkosmos"), which implements development of space technologies and services in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The signing of the trilateral memorandum took place on July 21 as part of the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon.
The memorandum sees cooperation in various areas of space activities, including satellite communication technologies. Taking into account the vast territory of Kazakhstan, one of the promising areas is the use on its territory of products and services of personal satellite communications "Gonets" for stationary and mobile subscribers.
