A broadband Internet communications channel independent of an American system have appeared at the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS). This was announced by the Director of the Department of digital development of the Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos Konstantin Shadrin.
For one rotation of the station around the Earth, the duration of which is 92 minutes, the connection to the planet via the Russian relay satellites "Loutch" is two times of 30 minutes.
