RIA Novosti: Russian satellite "Loutch-5B" became an "international rescuer" in accidents

Russian relay satellite "Loutch-5V" (operator of JSC "Satellite system "Gonets", part of State Corporation "Roscosmos") commisioned the international emergency search and rescue system COSPAS-SARSAT.
The introduction of the satellite into the system was preceded by checks of the technical readiness of the COSPAS-SARSAT repeater on the spacecraft, as well as the information receiving and processing station in Khabarovsk.
