Multifunctional space system relaying "Ray" provided the first ever launch from the new Russian cosmodrome "East"

Thursday, 28 April 2016, the system completed the transfer of telemetry information (TMI), through the spacecraft (SC) "Luch-5V" on the terrestrial point of reception with the start in 05.01 GMT carrier rocket "Soyuz 2.1 a" with block removal (BV) "Volga" and three more satellites on Board.
The experts had the opportunity to track important technical characteristics of the launch vehicle. Data from space "landed" in FSUE TsNIIMash (Korolev), where they use the station "Maple-P", and then transferred to the manufacturer of the carrier rocket of JSC "RCC "Progress" (Samara).

JSC "CC "Rider", being the operator of MXR Luch, took an active part in the preparation and conduct communication sessions with the Union. In preparation for the launch of the company's specialists participated in an integrated ground test equipment relay and when installed on the booster. The tests were carried out in a mode "point-point".

MXR Luch greatly enhances communication with boosters, booster units, and spacecraft, including the International space station. The system uses its own relay channels and allows to receive data from the Board along the entire flight path, including in areas where no ground-based technical equipment transmission and reception of TMI.
